Securing our Borders with Tactical Strategies and Technologies

IDGA is honored to present the inaugural Border Management Southwest in Tucson, AZ. Building upon the success of the flagship Border Management Summit in Washington, DC, this event will form the first leg of a regional conference series devoted to border issues.

There are constant and emergent threats that continuously endanger the security of the US. It is imperative that both the US and Mexico gain control over ports of entry, trans national gangs, and contraband heading in and out of Mexico. Organizations and businesses, therefore, need to work together to move forward with homeland security programs.

RECENT NEWS – After countless technical glitches and delays, the US Department of Homeland Security has suspended funding SBINet. A major reason for the demise of this program is due to the lack of an end-user perspective on technologies and equipment necessary for border security operations. IDGA’s Border Management Southwest Summit is the venue for end-users to state their requirements, and for vendors to present their cost-effective technologies.
